MEET OUR FOUNDER
Marcy Hammerle DVM, D-ACVP, CCRP
Our head veterinarian, Dr. Marcy Hammerle, founded My Neighbor Vet Hospital and Pet Fund (501c3) as a way to give back to her community. After owning and operating two successful veterinary practices for nearly 20 years, this next phase of her career is dedicated to serving the community by helping families keep their pets healthy, safe and comfortable. This clinic is Dr. Hammerle’s true passion project, and is a reflection of her belief that high-quality care doesn’t need to come with a high price tag.
When she isn’t in the clinic, Dr. Hammerle can be found enjoying time outside with her family: both two- and four-legged! She lives on a farm with her husband and 3 children, who can often be found working together with their herd of dairy goats or riding horses. Dr. Hammerle finds great meaning in using her veterinary skills to help families support their aging pets in living active, comfortable lives. She looks forward to using the My Neighbor Vet Hospital and Pet Fund to continue building relationships with animal lovers in Lincoln County, Missouri and beyond.
